West Design Lab (“we,” “our,” or “us”) develops and publishes mobile and web applications. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights — and it applies to all applications published by West Design Lab, including UNSTAGED and any future apps.
1. Overview
Our apps are designed with privacy in mind. Some of our apps operate entirely on-device with no data collection. Others — such as those offering user accounts, cloud sync, or subscription features — collect limited information necessary to provide the service.
This policy covers both types. Where a feature applies only to apps with accounts or cloud functionality, it is noted.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information (apps with accounts only)
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address (used for sign-in and account recovery)
- Display name (optional)
User-Created Content (apps with cloud sync)
Content you create within an app may be stored in the cloud to provide the service. This can include:
- Text entries, lists, notes, and planning data
- Images and media you upload
- Preferences, settings, and configuration
For apps that operate entirely on-device, all data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Payment Information (apps with subscriptions)
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe (web) and Apple (iOS). We never see or store your full credit card number. Payment processors may collect billing details such as card number, expiration date, and billing address directly.
Automatically Collected Data
We may automatically collect:
- Anonymous usage analytics (screen views, feature engagement, session duration)
- Crash reports and diagnostic data
- Device type and operating system version
- IP address (temporarily, for security and server logs)
Analytics data is anonymized, aggregated, and not linked to individual users. It is used solely to understand general app performance and improve our products.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Sync your data across devices (apps with cloud sync)
- Process subscription payments and manage your account
- Send essential account-related notifications (e.g., trial expiry, payment issues)
- Identify and fix bugs through crash reporting
- Understand usage patterns to improve our products (anonymized analytics only)
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services & SDKs
Our apps may integrate the following third-party services:
Google Firebase
Authentication, Cloud Firestore (database), Cloud Storage (images/media), Analytics, and Crashlytics. Firebase may collect device identifiers and IP addresses.

5. Data Storage & Security
For apps with cloud functionality, your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). Our web applications are hosted on European servers via Coolify/Hetzner.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), Firebase security rules restricting data access to authenticated users, and secure payment processing via Stripe and Apple.
For on-device-only apps, all data remains on your device. If you delete the app, all associated data is removed from your device.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in these limited cases:
- Service providers: Firebase (data storage), Stripe (payments), RevenueCat (iOS subscriptions) — only as needed to provide the service
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or legal process
- Shared accounts: In apps that support shared access (e.g., couple accounts), all users with access can view the shared data
7. Advertising & Tracking
Our apps do not display ads. Where used, the Meta (Facebook) SDK is limited to install attribution and ad campaign measurement. We do not use retargeting pixels, and we do not share your personal data with advertisers or ad networks.
We do not use third-party services for user profiling or behavioral advertising.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data stored by us
- Export your data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt out of analytics via your device settings
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

9. Children’s Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10. Data Retention
For apps with accounts, we retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible should you choose to re-subscribe. If you delete your account, all associated personal data and content will be permanently removed within 30 days.
For on-device-only apps, data is stored locally and removed when you uninstall the app.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
